Here is a passage taken from their Social Responsibility page:

"The guiding principles that launched SAS in 1976 are still at its foundation. The company strives to be approachable, so customers recognize SAS as a reliable partner and not just a vendor. It is about being customer-driven, engaging with customers to find out what they want and helping to solve their problems. It requires swiftness and agility, to adapt to changing technology and global conditions. It relies on the kind of innovation that grows in a workplace culture where employees feel valued, vested and inspired. And it demands that SAS be trustworthy, an ethical business partner that customers can count on for their critical decision-making processes."

As you can see, SAS using it's great reputation over decades strives to make sure that all of their customers are treated well in order for their businesses to succeed which is SAS's goal. SAS makes sure thats the conditions surrounding it's software and facilities creates a comfortable environment for their employees and customers.

You can see a example of SAS's employee Code of Ethics from this statement:

"Our Responsibilities to Each Other – In general, we should treat each other
with respect.

Diversity: SAS affirms the principles of equal employment opportunity without
regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, age, physical disability,
pregnancy, marital status, or sexual orientation, and we practice and promote
such policies in all locations as appropriate under the law. We affirm this
principle of freedom from discrimination in all aspects of the employment
relationship, from recruitment and hiring, through performance evaluations,
compensation and promotions.

Harassment: SAS seeks to provide a work environment free from harassment.
Although “harassment” most frequently refers to sexual harassment, workplace
harassment may also include harassment based upon a person’s race, religion,
national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical disability or any other
inappropriate or illegal basis. SAS prohibits unlawful harassment in any form,
whether physical, verbal, or non-verbal."
